Download Helix from the App Store. On first launch the onboarding will walk you through picking your first peptide, setting a typical dose, and creating a daily reminder. The whole flow takes about 90 seconds and then you're logging doses.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Helix has no signup, no login, no password to remember. Open the app and you're in. If you turn on iCloud sync, that uses your own iCloud account — we don't see it.
Will my data sync across my iPhone and iPad?
Yes, if you enable iCloud sync in Settings. Data flows through Apple's CloudKit using your iCloud account, encrypted with your account's keys. We have no access. Both devices need to be signed into the same Apple ID.
I'm not getting reminder notifications
Check three places:
1. iOS Settings → Notifications → Helix — make sure "Allow Notifications" is on and that Sounds, Banners, and Lock Screen are enabled.
2. Focus Modes — if you have a Focus filter active (Do Not Disturb, Sleep, Work), it may be silencing reminders. In Settings → Focus, add Helix to the allowed-apps list.
3. In Helix → Settings → Notifications — confirm Reminders are toggled on.
If it's still happening, email us with your iOS version and device model and we'll dig in.
I lost my phone / data — can you recover my history?
We can't — your data was never on our servers. Two scenarios:
• If you had iCloud sync enabled: install Helix on a new device signed into the same Apple ID. Your data will sync down automatically within a few minutes.
• If iCloud sync was off: the data lived only on the lost device. We have no copy. iOS backups may include it — if you have a backup from before the loss, restoring it will bring Helix data back.
Is Helix a medical device?
No. Helix is a logbook — a private place to track what you take, when, and how you felt. We don't recommend dosages, prescribe medications, or provide medical advice. Always work with a qualified healthcare provider.
What peptides and medications does Helix support?
Anything you can give yourself by injection. The seed library includes BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Ipamorelin, and CJC-1295. You can also add custom entries for compounds not in the library — name, default dose, half-life, anything.
How do I delete my Helix data permanently?
From the device: delete the Helix app from your home screen. iOS removes the local database with it.
From iCloud (if you used sync): iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Helix → Delete Data.
That's it. There is no third place for your data to live.
